蒸蛋糕
Got this Marie Biscuit steam cake from Blessed Homemaker on my to-dos for d longest time cause I always never remember to buy Marie biscuit. Today, Hubby suddenly bought home some & I give it a try. Half all d ingredients & didnt put as much cocoa powder as stated. End result - not very nice looking & a bit too wet. But MIL commented it tasted nice.
(A)
150g marie biscuit (crush)
5g double action baking powder (sieve)
(B)
2 eggs
80g sugar
120g milk
few drop Vanilla oil
(C)
80g melted butter
(D)1/2 tsp cocoa powder (sieve)- Mix (B) in a mixing bowl & stir till sugar dissolves, strain.
Add in (A) into (B) mix till well combined. Add (C) & mix well. Divide batter into 2 portions. Add (D) into one of the portion and mix till well combinedGrease baking tin lined with baking paperPour 1st portion of plain batter into baking tin &spread neatly. Steam with high heat for 15 mins. Remove baking tin from steamer, prickPour in 2nd portion of brown batter & spread neatly.Steam with high heat for 15 mins. Remove baking tin from steamer, prick
