Mangyle Vest_II

Just a update on hubby's vest, I have finished d back & is now starting d front. Actually, am done half way on d front when hubby saw d pattern & told me he doesnt like d way it gathers up on d inside of d vest! So I had to undo & re-start again. Here's just a shot of how d pattern looks like on d outside & inside be4 it was undo. As u can c from d pic, d outside is ok for d inside looks very messy. I have to redo & try to hide d cross-over color yarn so that it will look presentable on d inside too.! so fussy!

Rnd 4: same as rnd 3.
Rnd 5: P1, (C3F, P1) 3times. P1, (C3B, P1) 3times. rep to end of rnd.

Test knit socks

With friends in town visiting, I didn’t have time to try anything new till now. I have never knitted socks be4 & with Hayden growing up, thot I give it a try so I can knit socks for him as & when he grows. But after searching d web, I found out that knitting socks is NOT easy. Most ppl used 4-5 open needles & I find that troublesome. Thus, when I finally found this web that teaches sock knitting on circular needle, I grab it immediately. So using d bal yarn from my tote, I started knitting my very 1st pair of socks!

Everyday Textured Tote

FINALLY! I managed to finish d tote that I started on 04June. Reason it took me so long was:
1) pattern was bored to tears;
2) tote is 45cm in depth!
3) MIL in town & I was buz bringing her ard eating & shopping on most days (good excuse ;-p )

But at least it’s done now. It's really a very useful tote cause it can hold LOTS of stuff. But I might need to re-knit d handle cause it's not very "nice looking".

Everyday Textured Tote

Since I now have some time on hand, I decided to give this pattern a try. It's a very, very easy pattern using mostly Seed Stitches. & since I only have enough wool of green & orange, that's d color am making. I have only started this last nite & it's coming real well. Hopefully I can finish this fast. & hopefully it will turn out just like d pic in d original website.

Hayden's Vest

I finally finished kintting Hayden's vest. Actually, I finished 2weeks ago but size not right, so I undo it & re-knit again. However, hubby thinks it's still too small. True enough, tried it on & Hayden's head is just too big. d rest fit ok but problem getting d head through.. sigh. guess I have to undo & re-knit again..

Knitting

Hubby flew off last nite to KL for buz trip, thus, my job to prepare & send Hayden to school. Guess what! I didnt check d volume of my iPhone & thus, alarm didnt sound off this morning @ 7am! OMG! Lucky, Hayden started moving ard & woke me ard 7.25am, so, made it to school by 8am. Phew!
& I mgd to go back to sleep after coming back from his school till 12.30pm when my hubby woke me up by smsing from KL. So I wash up & went to Central ChitLom StarBucks to have my Green Tea Latte while working on my knitting (which is coming along well). Am doing this so that I can save some electrical w/out having d aircon on throughout d whole day. Cause it's really HOT here in Bkk & my electric bill has been gg up since I become a homemaker! I have been gg there for 3times since last week. Not even sure this will cut down my electric bill but definitely up my cash spending so far!
